All that glitters….

All that glitters….

It seems like fashion week has transformed New York into a kind of wonderland. Lincoln Center has turned into a gigantic fashion show (both inside Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park and outside on the streets.)

But apparently all that glitters isn’t gold on the runway. Girls under the age of 16 received a lot of runway work this fashion week. At first this may not seem like a big deal, and comparisons to child actors may come to mind.

However, according to this Jezebel article, there is a big difference as these young ladies are not protected by a union, maximum work hour limits, nor have the vehicles to continue their education.
