Apple accused of copying trademarked railway clock design

Apple is known for chasing everyone and anyone who seems to be free-riding on their design.  However, this time, Apple might have to defend itself against a possible trademark infringement claim by the Swiss Federal Railway Service (SBB).  Apple is allegedly using a copy of the SBB’s railway clock in the IOS 6 for the iPad.  The design was created by an SBB employee back in 1944 and is now owned by the SBB.  This issue comes up a few weeks after Apple won the infringement lawsuit against Samsung, accusing the latter of copying some design elements of the iPhone.  I can only say – what goes around, comes around.
